The multi award winning Aviola Accessories is the innovators of eco-friendly Jewelry and Art all handmade with sustainable metals , semi-precious stones and recycled materials. 

The business was founded, owned and operated by Melissa Preddie,a creative and artistic individual who has a passion for recycling. Established in February 2013, the concept for Aviola emerged from Melissa's recognition of the devastating effects improper disposal of wasted materials such as plastic bottles was causing in her local community. As an avid believer in recycling and realizing that not many people were practicing the move,she decided to conduct the necessary research and discovered the business potential, hence the birth of her business.

Currently Aviola produces Eco-friendly mixed media art which includes recycled plastic bottles and other eco-friendly materials.

The Jewelry line includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings which are handmade with sustainable semiprecious metals namely: brass, bronze, recycled copper and aluminum (sheeting and wires) which are all locally sourced.

We pride ourselves as being the local pioneers in Jamaica by upcycling "waste materials" into tangible and  sustainable products , thus making a direct contribution to the preservation of our environment.

Achievements: 

*Most Environmentally Friendly Business under United Nations Habitat Young Women of Purpose Entrepreneurship Programme.

*Second place as Local Economic Initiative Development Support Programme through the Social Development Commission in Jamaica.
